Under 13 Youth

Kew AFC Under 13 Youth play in the Premier division of the Surrey Youth League.

We’re in our second season in the premier division, after a creditable mid-table finish last season. We hope to build on last year’s solid start to move up the table this season. And pre-season friendlies, all against premier elite sides have given us confidence. We beat Kingstonian Royals, Carshalton Athletic and Croydon Juniors in successive warm-up games, as well as our Colts side.  And we’ve opened the season with a win over Wandgas. See Match reports. All Fixtures and results for the season are listed.

This will be the third season for one of our most ambitious managers, Chris Galvin. From a background in Kingston Little League, and after coaching teams for the National Little League tournament, Chris was keen to move to a more competitive environment. He sets targets for his squad and after promotion after the first season and a midtable finish in the second, he will be keen to move upwards.

Additionally, this season Chris has taken on the role of youth section Welfare officer for the club.

Training is every Monday at Latchmere Recreation ground from 4:30 to 5:45 pm.
