So successful was the trials held by U12 Youth manager, Chris Galvin, that there were enough players to create a second squad for this age group. The manager in the U12 Colts’ first season is John Charalambous and his assistant manager is Nick Potter. Our new team had the distinction of being the only team NOT to lose on the opening day of the season, as they drew their opening match 1-1 with Worcester Park Colts, then following up with a win away to Lyne Vapours to take them to third in the Table. Unbeaten in their first four league games, they then lost seven on the trot, before clocking up another win in February, ironically enough against Barnes Eagles Juniors, the team which started their losing streak.
